Unió Esportiva Figueres was founded on April 13, 1919, the result of the union of the Sport Club Català and the Joventud Sportiva i Artística, both clubs founded in 1914.

 

Estadi Municipal de Vilatenim, with capacity for 9,472 people, inaugurated on August 25, 1986.
