Lloret de Mar is a municipality of the region of the Selva, in the province of Gerona and next to the sea, in the Costa Brava. It is endowed with excellent beaches of granulated sand. It also has magnificent views of the castle at one end and the other the monument to “The Dona Marinera” which represents the suffering of the women waiting for the return of their husbands fishermen.
